Fownd Supply Management a procurement outsourcing, business support and consultancy company, has signed an agreement with Italian manufacturing company Framec (www.framectrade.it), to import eutectic deep freeze vehicle bodies to the UK. This adds to the growing list of services and products that Fownd manage, including: Vehicle Rental, Project Management, Fleet Management, Contract Hire, Bulk Buying and now Alternative Technologies in chilled/deep frozen distribution.

Paul Tuszynski, Fownd's Executive Director, comes from a background of supplying not only end products but specialised knowledge into the refrigerated/frozen transport sector says:

"this technology really brings a great advantage to its operators. Reduced noise and operating costs, no intrusive maintenance regimes and of course as the units are not powered from the vehicles engine, we can adopt greener technologies from the vehicle manufacture such as Start/Stop engines. This further reduces the carbon impact of our clients and significantly lowers costs."

Fownd will be offering a vehicle demonstrator program from mid September, to showcase the benefits of this solution.
